The most economical and versatile way to feed lucerne.
The Nuts are fatter
than many pellets, with a coarser grist. Soaked, they form a fine chop. In small
amounts, they can be mixed into plenty of soaked, unmolassed beet pulp. Soaked
with beet pulp, they make a complete feed to replace hay for horses sensitive to
dust. Elderly horses find this easy to eat. Safe for laminitics. A handful can
be scattered around the stable or paddock to extend eating time and relieve
boredom. Will provide muscle and top line without alteration to temperament.
