About Us
Having been around horses and riding for over 30 years, being privileged enough to own horses for the majority of that time, we wanted to be able to
share our knowledge and expertise with the rest of the equine world.
We bought Equine Clothing Company in 2001 when it was predominently a mini rug company. We have not only expanded the range we do for minis, but also have
a bespoke range for those of you with larger equines.
We specialise in handmade, colour co-ordinated rugs made to your requirements ranging from 1'9" to 7'3".
All the products that we manufacture are made without compromise using top quality fabrics. We are constantly looking for new fabrics and ideas, so if you can't
find what you are looking for or you have an idea, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We are based on the edge of the New Forest with our 7 horses, both small and large who are happy to try and test our products so we can categorically say we use what we sell.
If there is anything else you would like to know, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Meet our horses
Eureka - 29 year old Arab, very showy in her day. Used for general riding and dressage, we have owned
her since she was a baby.
Prince - 21 year old cob type. Prince is a good riding horse although not for novice riding.
He is a companion to Eureka.
Molly - 18 year old standard shetland pony. Rescued by us in summer 2005, suffering from
severe sweet itch and living in appauling conditions, now living a quiet and happy life.
Annie - 5 year old mini shetland pony. Bought by us as a 2 year old, bred for the showrin but
unfortunately her conformation is not correct. She is kind and gentle and is quite used to trying
our products and having her photo taken.
Sparkle - 3 year old British miniature horse. Very showy, intelligent little horse with a big
personality, currently learning natural horsemanship. A great model for the camera, loves trying
out our rugs and has recently taught herself how to open stable doors!

Breeze - 5 year old mini shetland, rescued by us in summer 2005. She was very frightened and malnourished with
her yearling foal at foot. Living in appauling conditions, starving with no food except ragwort and very depressed.
Now living very happily with her new friends, she has been trained using natural horsemanship methods and is very content.
Champagne - The 2 year old daughter of Breeze, rescued by us with her mum. Living very happily with
her friends, apparently not traumatised by her bad start in life. She is very good at trying out our rugs
and enjoys having her photo taken.
